DBDT: ENCORE! DANCER

Sydney Guine (Los Angeles, CA) began dancing at the age of 3. She started her more serious study of ballet with Nancy Dobbs-Owen and then at the age of 7, during a summer intensive she discovered her love for diverse styles of dance at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy (DADA). While at DADA, Sydney was honored with opportunities such as performing and taking class in Caba, as well as dancing at the Kennedy Center, the Apollo, and for Michelle Obama at the White House. Sydney graduated from the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts in 2020.

She has attended summer intensives at Orsolina28, DanceItalia, LINES Ballet, The Rock School for Dance Education, Hubbard Street, Limon, and Complexions Ballet, and has had the privilege of working with choreographers such as Hope Boykin, Darrel Moultrie, Maleek Washington, Anthony Burrell, Otis Salid, Jacob Jonas, and Desmond Richardson.
