MAYA ACUÑA-TAYLOR

FORT WORTH, TX


Maya began her classical ballet training at the Ballet Center of Fort Worth. In 2019, she joined I.M. Terrell Academy for STEM and VPA under Christen Reyes, working with Ray Mercer, My'Kal Stromile, and Patrick Coker. In 2022, she entered the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program, where she worked with PeiJu Chien-Pott, Hope Boykin, and Ronald K. Brown. A 2025 Hubbard Street Dance Intensive Fellowship recipient, she performed with the company in Amy Hall Garner's As The Wind Blows. She joined the company in 2026.
