In May of 2014, Ms. Williams officially retired as Artistic Director of the organization. She remains actively involved with the dance company providing guidance for the annual Founder’s Luncheon and as an emeritus member of the Board of Directors. Ann M. Williams, founder and artistic advisor of Dallas Black Dance Theatre, is a founding member of the Dance Council and The International Association of Blacks in Dance.
