Jonathan W. Ambrose (Detroit, MI) started training at the age of three at Marygrove College which sparked his passion for dance. Jonathan continued training throughout middle and high school, participating in spring, gospel, and Christmas dance shows at his school. He also attended Detroit Windsor Dance Academy after school, progressing through every level and finishing his sophomore year of high school at the top.

He received top-notch training under James Aktiosn, Jerome Stigerler, Rodie Williams, Dealgo cheatom, Demeaius shields, Debbra Jean Whithunt, Cheyenne Baker, and Kyle A. Jones. Jonathan Ambrose has been recognized and awarded scholarships by LuLu Washington Dance foundation, Green Works Project, Dance Theater Of Harlem, Las Vegas School of the Arts, Dallas Black Dance Theatre, and other great instruction and organizations.

Jonathan is currently a senior at Alabama State University where he is studying to get his BFA in dance.
