Graduated from the Escuela Nacional de Ballet de Cuba and distinguished with Gold Medals, the Eternal Dance Award, and the Technical Mastery Award, Diego Tapanes has developed a strong artistic career in both classical and contemporary dance. He was a Principal Dancer with the Ballet Nacional de Cuba, a Soloist with Texas Ballet Theater, and a Principal Dancer with Complexions Contemporary Ballet, representing these companies on prestigious national and international stages. He joined the company in 2026.
