This position requires a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Virtual Programs & Database Manager to oversee Dallas Black Dance Theatre virtual performance and education outreach programs, maintain cross-departmental support for our Tessitura database system, and provide in-person box office and ticketing support for performances. This position requires strong organizational skills, customer service experience, prospect research experience, and Tessitura database expertise.

Virtual Education Outreach:
Develop and execute outreach strategies to educational organizations, schools, and community partners
Identify and cultivate relationships with prospective partner organizations
Conduct virtual presentations and meetings with educational stakeholders
Maintain sales pipeline for virtual and educational programs and partnerships
Coordinate group bookings and educational packages with schools and organizations
Track outreach efforts and partnership development progress
Tessitura Database Management:
Maintain and update patron and organizational data in Tessitura with accuracy and attention to detail
Generate reports and analyze data trends to support marketing and development initiatives
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with privacy regulations
Create and maintain data entry protocols and quality control procedures
Provide technical support and training to staff on Tessitura usage
Performance Support:
Provide on-site assistance during performances for ticketing operations
Manage will call operations and patron services at venue box office
Support group sales check-in and coordination leading up to and during events
Assist with last-minute ticketing issues and patron inquiries

Proficiency in Tessitura database management system (required)
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams)
Experience with CRM systems and sales tracking tools
Basic understanding of data analysis and reporting tools
Strong proficiency in SQL coding language preferred

Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
4+ years of experience with Tessitura database management
2+ years of experience in sales, outreach, or partnership development
Strong project management and organizational skills
Experience in fast-paced, team-oriented environments
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Experience working in remote environments with occasional in-person requirements
Ability to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends during performance season

Dallas Black Dance Theatre staff are working in administrative offices located at 2700 Ann Williams Way, Dallas, Texas 75201 in the Dallas Arts District. Hours - Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with occasional nights and weekends for performances and special events.
This role will require successful candidates to collaboratively work with the on-site administrative staff in a primarily remote capacity, with occasional in-person nights and weekends required for performances and special events.
