When Ann Williams started Dallas Black Dance Theatre in 1976, she did not know it would become Dallas’ largest dance company or the nation’s fourth largest African American dance company. She started it with the simple goal of inspiring minority children to see themselves as professional dancers. From that vision, a legacy of inclusion, collaboration, and artistic excellence has transformed the dance world.
Now you can be a part of Ann Williams’ legacy by joining the Ann Williams Legacy Society. Including Dallas Black Dance Theatre as a beneficiary in your will, trust, retirement plan, or life insurance policy magnifies the organization’s impact in the community and ensures the longevity of Dallas’ oldest professional dance company for generations to come.
PLAN YOUR GIFT
You can only join the Society by planning a future gift to Dallas Black Dance Theatre. Gifts can be made by adding the organization as a beneficiary to your retirement plan or life insurance policy or by including Dallas Black Dance Theatre in your will or charitable trust.
Please remember to consult your own financial advisor and/or attorney when planning charitable gifts.
