All proceeds from the event will benefit Dallas Black Dance Theatre’s Academy by providing a 40% reduction in tuition fees for students at DBDT’s historic facility and free in-school outreach programs for more than 3,000 K-12 students across the DFW Metroplex.

Additionally, all 150,000 Dallas ISD students have access to DBDT’s virtual student matinees which allows each child to experience dance performance without leaving their classroom.

Celebrating its 50th Anniversary, Dallas Black Dance Academy offers year-round classes taught by dancers from DBDT’s two professional companies in ballet, tap, modern, jazz, and ethnic dances.
