Dallas Black Dance Theatre opens their season with the Winter Series and a commissioned work by national Hip Hop artist, Rennie Harris Puremovement. Harris is known for bringing social dance to the concert stage with the unique ability to express universal themes that extend beyond racial, religious and economic boundaries.

Nascimento, a playful and lighthearted work by David Parsons, will highlight the versatility of the Company. And with an original score by Duke Ellington, audiences will be thrilled by a solo work, Reflections in D, a masterpiece choreographed by Alvin Ailey.
